


The manga's eighth volume shipped on December 13. In November 2015, the manga moved to Ichijinsha's Comic POOL digital manga magazine.

Yūichi Fukuda (live-action Gintama) is directing the film.įujita launched the manga on the image sharing website pixiv in 2014. The film will open on Friday, February 7. Voice actress Maaya Uchida will play herself in the film in an in-movie stage performance. Yumi Wakatsuki will play a "serious fujoshi" character who cosplays as a game character, and Mio Imada will play a stylish colleague of Narumi. Other cast members include Kento Kaku, Tsuyoshi Muro as a bartender, and Jiro Sato. Nanao (rightmost) plays Hanako Koyanagi, while Takumi Saitou (leftmost) plays Tarō Kabakura. Mitsuki Takahata (center right in visual below) and Kento Yamazaki (center left) are starring in the film as Narumi and Hirotaka, respectively. The manga's story centers on the awkward romantic comedy between Narumi, a female office worker who hides her fujoshi lifestyle, and Hirotaka, a handsome and capable company man who is secretly a game otaku. The video previews the recording of two of the musical numbers for the film, with the songs "Boku ni Nani ga Dekiru no darou" (What Could I Possibly Do?) by Kento Yamazaki, and "Hoshi yo Oshiete" (Tell Me, O Stars) by Mitsuki Takahata. TOHO began streaming a new promotional video for the live-action film of Fujita's Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku ( Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii) manga on Monday.
